"Wyatt & Dixie"
(Crotalus atrox)
Western Diamond Back Rattlesnake

A rather famous movie star WDB Rattlesnake (STAR) at the Westman Reptile Gardens (https://www.reptilegardens.ca/) just outside of Brandon Manitoba had some babies and they knew that I would definitely want to have some of them for myself.
Having kept Venomous snakes primarily Crotalids (Rattlesnakes) for many many years I was only baby steps away from getting back in.
These babies provided the nudge.
***Please note that these are HIGHLY VENOMOUS and DANGEROUS animals** They require a very experienced keeper and no room for error.
Mistakes with these animals can have catastrophic impacts on your health.
Babies even more so than adults as adults often learn to control their venom dispersal and dry bites may be more common. However neonates generally have not learned or have far less control so bites from babies are dangerous.
Please ensure should you ever wish to consider keeping such animals that you first know the laws and rules where you live as to legality of keeping them.
Secondly I highly recommend getting some training working with such species from someone with a high level of experience first hand.ensure you have a protocol in place should an accident happen. This not only helps you expedite care but also ensures the safety of your family and pets.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS RESPONSIBILITY LIGHTLY. Mistakes not cause issues for oneself but also the reptile keeping hobby in general.
